Our Story - Highland Cattle Ranch

Wild Hair Ponderosa began with a dream, a love for the land, and a passion for Highland cattle. In July 2024, my husband and I purchased 54 acres in Caddo, Oklahoma, and started building the foundation for what would become our ranch and breeding program.

In February 2025, we welcomed our very first Highland heifer to the ranch, and it didn’t take long for our herd — and our love for the breed — to grow. Since then, we have added several more heifers and bulls and are excited to start our breeding program.

Ranch life requires hard work, dedication, and heart, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Every day brings new experiences and opportunities to care for the animals we love so much. At Wild Hair Ponderosa, we are proud to raise quality Highland cattle and are excited to share our passion, journey, and herd with you.
